Visit by His Excellency The Governor and Lady Dutton

The Governor Sir James Dutton and Lady Dutton recently visited the Air Terminal as part of their familiarisation programme of Gibraltar. 

They were met be the Air Terminal Director, Mr Terence Lopez and members of the management team and proceeded to tour the different areas of the building, which was operational at the time.
During the visit they were briefed on how the airport systems worked and shown some of the technical rooms and “back of the house” areas where they had the opportunity of meeting members of staff of different organisations at work.

The visit ended with a short presentation and refreshments in the Wessex Lounge. His Excellency and Lady Dutton being briefed by the Air Terminal Director, Mr Terence Lopez, Duty Manager, Mr Joe Acris and Quality Control Manager, Mr Clive Baker.
